Colloidal oatmeal, aloe, panthenol and black seed oil. It washes and conditions in one pass, so there is no second bottle.

A horse takes a lot of shampoo, and a second bottle of conditioner is one more thing to carry down a wet aisle in January. So the conditioning is built into the wash, with colloidal oatmeal, aloe, panthenol, biotin, seaweed, tremella and black seed oil.

No SLS, no SLES. The first surfactant on the list is sodium lauroyl methyl isethionate, a mild cleanser also used in salon shampoos. Nothing is left sitting on the coat after the rinse.

It carries the same scent as the cologne, which goes on once the coat is dry.

Wet the coat through. A dense winter coat takes longer than it looks. Work it in along the lie of the hair, not against it. Rinse until the water runs clear. There’s no conditioner to follow.

Keep it out of the eyes.
